The OfficeServ Router provides four Ethernet ports, of which three are rated at 10/100baseT band one at 10baseT. It also has connectivity for a V.35 network connection. V.35 is a standard mainly used in the US to connect routers to T-1 Carriers.The Router capability is embedded into the OfficeServ WIM module.

The WIM module allows the OfficeServ 7200 to transmit and receive data to and from the external Internet. It offers a variety of external interfaces and ports for connecting to an internal network. It is therefore our link between the external and internal networks.

Essentially the WIM is the data module for the OS7200 and performs a host of functions most of which are new to
the OfficeServ portfolio.
